Matt's on the sign kick, too.

NASH: Sign, sign everywhere a sign, written by Matt Nash (One Southern Indiana Newspaper)

Now I understand Matt's comment on Twitter: We've both been listening to the Five Man Electrical Band, and we're both feeling a sense of revulsion at the proliferation of unregulated signage. While the worst sinners aren't confined to the ranks of politicians, it will seem like it from now until May 3, and that's why I'm running a "no signs and no instant garbage" green campaign for council at-large.

It's simple: Hate the Signs, Vote the Publican (not Re-Publican).

Once seated, I will make it a priority to mercilessly scourge street spam by taking the street sweepers off the street and assigning their personnel to enforcing sign removal, among other tasks that might actually result in the cleaning of rampant ugliness on the city' streetscape.
