Facebook group sez: "Ed Clere for Mayor of New Albany!"

I think it's actually serious.

But in a city stacked to the brim with unintended satire, one can never be sure.

Good, bad or indifferent, one thing is clear: It would be a big backward step for Rep. Clere. Being mayor of a place like New Albany is far more of an impediment to higher ambition than a leg up.

Whatever one's view of Rep. Clere, his sights are quite obviously set higher.
